The Rev. Harry "Frank" Quertermous, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 26, 1934, in Concord, Missouri, to Frank Wesley and Addie Mae Wilson Quertermous. He married Margaret C. Jackson on Sept. 18. 1952. She preceded him in death May 5, 2001.
Frank was a welder for Ford Motor Co. He pastored several churches but most recently attended Scott City First Family and Worship Center in Scott City.
He is survived by daughters, Angela (Gary) Henderson of Olive Branch, Illinois, Linda (John) White of Fredericktown, Missouri, and LaDonna (Don) Raney of Benton, Missouri; brother, Virgil Long of Benton; 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and daughters-in law, Joyce and Karen Quertermous.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sons, Frank Wesley and Keith Eugene; stepfather, Byoma Long; brothers, Hubert Lee, Leonard, Arvil, Bobby Joe; and sister, Carolyn Butrum.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Rouse officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Anne Cemetery in St. Anne, Illinois.
