REV. CLAY BROOKS

Funeral for the Rev. Clay Brooks of Fairdealing will be held at 1 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The Rev. J.L. Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Doniphan Cemetery.

Brooks, 76, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at his home.

He was born Feb. 21, 1924, in Linden, Tenn. He and Ruby Felts were married June 21, 1943, in Mississippi.

Brooks was an Assembly of God minister more than 50 years and had served as pastor of Assembly of God churches in Doniphan and Scott City.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Danny Brooks of Cape Girardeau, Michael Brooks of Doniphan; a sister, Betty Pratt of Heber Springs, Ark.; a brother, Floyd Brooks of Creve Coeur, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
