COBDEN, Ill. -- The Rev. Charles E. Ingram, 70, of Chebanse died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 22, 1929, at Cobden, son of Ed and Eva Dunn Ingram. He and Vae Burpo were married Aug. 20, 1950.
Ingram was ordained in 1956 and was a pastor 43 years at various Baptist churches. He had also worked for wholesale plumbing companies throughout the Kankakee area.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dorinda Trovillion of Carbondale; two sons, Daniel Ingram of Chicago, Douglas Ingram of Malvern, Ohio; a sister, Juanita Emery of Cobden; and five grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Hal Trovillion officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
