CHAFFEE, Mo. -- The Rev. C.B. Stidham, 87, of Chaffee passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
C.B. was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Rockview, Missouri, to the late Joseph Franklin and Clara Pearl Walton Stidham.
C.B. was a retired equipment operator and a concrete finisher. He was also a pastor of Hill Church in Rockview. He was a Mason with the Chaffee Masonic lodge 615 AF & AM.
He married Norma Jean Sweet on April 29, 1949, in Arbor, and she preceded him in death Nov. 10, 2005.
Survivors include three sons, Delmar "Butch" (Laura) Stidham of Cape Girardeau, Tom (Paula) Stidham of Chaffee and Robert (Melinda) Stidham of Whitewater; five grandchildren, Regina King, Jonathan Stidham, Erik Stidham, Tommy Stidham and Megan Pingkian; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Gene Stidham; one brother, Ernest (Pat) Stidham; and two sisters, Bonnie Mae Allen and Golda White.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hill Church in Rockview. There will be a Masonic service. The burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
