DEXTER -- Reu E. Walls, 90, formerly of Dexter, died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
She was born Aug. 30, 1908, in Essex, to Joseph and Mary Ann Corbin Bess Anderson.
She married Everett E. Walls in Idalia on July 17, 1927. He died Nov. 1, 1988.
She moved from Dexter to Illinois in 1954 and lived there until January when she moved to Gravois Mills. On May 1, she entered the care center at Versailles.
She was a member of the General Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Dolores Reu Homan of Houston, Texas, and Mary Ann McClure of Bloomington, Ill.; a son, James E. Walls of Gravois Mills; a sister, Ruby Hammonds of Bernie; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 tonight at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Watkins & Sons Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
