OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Retta K. Clutts, 94, of Olive Branch died Monday, Sept. 28, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born July 21, 1903, in Thebes, daughter of Edward Franklin and Flora Ann Porterfield King. She and Lloyd Clutts were married Sept. 16, 1925. He died Dec. 25, 1995.
Clutts was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and Little Egypt Chapter of AARP in Tamms.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Carner of Olive Branch; two sons, William and James Clutts of Wood River; a sister, Virgie Cochran of East Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
