SIKESTON -- Funeral for Rena Poe of Sikeston will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Poe, 91, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 10, 1907, in Camden, Tenn., daughter of Clead and Hannah Sims Reeves. She and Foncie Poe were married July 24, 1929, in New Madrid. He died July 9, 1978.
Poe had been a salesclerk and made alterations at Graber's Department Store and at Knight's Department Store. She was a member of Smith Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Don Poe of Sikeston; a daughter, Mickey Holyfield of Sikeston; a brother, Don Reeves of Alexandria, Ind.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, two sisters, and a grandson.
