Regina M. Unverferth, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Chateau Girardeau.
She was born May 20, 1932, in Perry County, to Edwin and Mary Schumer Unverferth.
Regina had been an accountant with Drury Inns. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Gayle) Unverferth of Cape Girardeau and their children, Matthew, Nicholas and Andrew; a daughter, Shelagh Mayhew of Washington, Mo., and her children, Megan, Shannon, James and Jerry; four brothers, Joe Unverferth of Iowa, Jack Unverferth of Arizona, Eddie Unverferth of Red Bud, Ill., and Jim Unverferth of Lincoln, Neb.; and two sisters, Joan Welker and Mary Ann Becker of Perryville, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Pete Unverferth; and three sisters, Rosemary Healy, Ruth Baer and Alma Schumer.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday in the Gathering Space at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be private.
Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
