PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Regina B. Schnurbusch, 95, of Perryville died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 11, 1907, in Perry County, daughter of Gottfried Emil and Mary Theresa Buchheit Wibbenmeyer. She and Theodore B. Schnurbusch were married Sept. 21, 1926, at Apple Creek, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Schnurbusch had been a licensed practical nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, American Legion Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Jerome Schnurbusch of Perryville, LeRoy Schnurbusch of Huntsville, Ala.; two daughters, Bernice French of Perryville, Mary Kertz of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a brother, Edgar Wibbenmeyer of Granbury, Texas; a sister, Ludmilla "Mode" Rellergert of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, and four sisters.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.
