Regina Bock, 87, of Westminster, Calif., a former longtime resident of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at her home.
She was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Batesville, Ark., to Joseph W. and Lucille Taylor Lane. She and Norman E. Bock were married in 1944. He preceded her in death.
Regina was a telephone operator with Southeast Bell Telephone, and then worked at Sears Roebuck when the store first opened and retired after 25 years of service. She was a volunteer at Southeast Hospital until 2008, and was a lifelong member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Terry Bock of Westminster; many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald and Robert Lane.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Revs. Karen Nothdurft and Jim Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
