MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Rebel D. Kelso of Matthews will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Thomas Bray will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kelso, 75, died Thursday, April 1, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Sept. 10, 1917, in Fulton, Miss., son of Walter "Bow" and Ada Tucker Kelso. He and Willie M. Raper were married Nov. 27, 1937, in Kaiser, Ark.
Kelso was a retired farmer, and member of First Baptist Church in New Madrid.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bob Kelso of Malden, Harvey Kelso of Matthews; three brothers, Melbia Kelso of South Haven, Miss., Harley Kelso of Chicago, Dave Kelso of Fulton; three sisters, Vema Young of Sikeston, Vela Payne of North Little Rock, Ark., Verb Curtis of Aurora, Ill.; a stepsister, Myram Moore of Fulton; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and a grandson.
