Rebecca Marie Garner Estes Hinkle, 90, of Dutchtown died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at her home.
She was born May 8, 1916, at Sank, Mo., daughter of Thomas and Estella Wooldridge Garner. She and Edgar W. Estes were married April 21, 1934. He died July 2, 1963. She and Homer Hinkle were married in 1964. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hinkle worked on the farm many years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Greenbrier Assembly of God Church near Greenbrier, Mo.
Survivors include a stepson, James Hinkle of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Ruth Hinkle of Michigan, Virginia Speer of Advance, Mo.; five grandchildren, Brenda Carnell of Delta, Terry Obermann, Larry Obermann and Susan Reed of Dutchtown, Donna Davault of Advance; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Estes Obermann Martin; a grandson, Earl Obermann Jr.; five brothers, three sisters and her stepfather.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be Burl Ragsdale, Roy Garner, David Garner, Larry Obermann, Terry Obermann and Cory Obermann.
