MARTSTON -- R.D. Misouria, 63, of Marston died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born June 16, 1935, in Essex, son of John and Clora Martin Misouria. He married Berthania Mosby.
He was a lifelong resident of Missouri and a retired farm laborer.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Misouria and Laveria Johnson, both of Marston; five sons, Lee Purtty and Antinio Williams, both of San Diego, Calif., Richard Misouria of Sikeston, Kelvin Misouria of Seattle, Wash., and Jeffery Misouria of Abilene, Texas.
Also surviving are three sisters, Alice Misouria of Marston, Lee Misouria of Howardville, Teresa Ivory of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, John Misouria of San Diego, Sammie C. Misouria of New Madrid; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a friend, Erma Jones of Marston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and daughter.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Howardville.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Good Hope Baptist Church in Marston, with the Rev. Jay Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in Mason Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
