PUXICO -- Raymond W. Wiseman, 81, of rural Puxico, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born at Lutesville May 14, 1913, son of Ralph and Maggie Shell Wiseman.
He had lived in the Zalma and Puxico areas all of his life. He owned and operated a grocery store north of Kinder for many years. He was also a farmer and trucker.
He was of the General Baptist faith.
On Nov. 30, 1932, he married Jewell George at Zalma. She survives.
Other survivors are one son, Don Wiseman, Puxico; one daughter, Jolene Carter, Wentzville; one sister, Alma Eaker, Marble Hill; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Visitation at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home here will be held from 8 a.m. today until funeral services at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Gary Cooper will officiate with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery at Marble Hill.
