CHARLESTON -- Funeral Mass for Raymond M. Stricker of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Catholic Church. The Rev. Rich Lause will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Stricker, 76, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 1996, at his home.
He was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Charleston, son of Henry and Grace Martin Stricker. He and Frances O'Neal were married April 25, 1945. She died Nov. 18, 1989.
Stricker was a self-employed building contractor, and had lived in Charleston most of his life. He was a member of St. Henry's Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a captain in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Mike Stricker of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Stricker of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lt. Col. Rebecca Gentry with the U.S. Air Force in Alaska; two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
