ANNA, Ill. -- Raymond E. Sills, 76, of Anna died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 18, 1937, son of Walter and Margie Watkins Sills.
Raymond served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Later he worked as a laborer in a factory. He was loved by the residents and staff of Spanish Oaks Center where Raymond happily resided since 1983. He was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Flanary of East Alton, Illinois, Betty Lane of Cape Girardeau; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Sills.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Anna City Cemetery with military honors by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 and the Illinois National Guard.
