JACKSON -- Funeral service for Raymond Randall of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Bill Ellis will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Randall, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 5, 1908, at Patterson, son of Lewis and Mae Williams Randall. He and Alpha Montgomery were married in 1931. She died Sept. 13, 1975.
Randall had lived in Jackson 62 years. He worked at the former LaPierre-Sawyer Handle Factory more than 50 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Kimbeland Country Club, and had coached Little League.
Survivors include two sons, Don Randall of St. Charles, Ron Randall of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Mary Mills of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Fred Randall of Piedmont; a sister, Ella Eades of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
