McCLURE, Ill. -- Raymond Peters, 75, of McClure died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Leopold, Mo., son of August and Mary Peters. He and Opal Kettle were married Feb. 14, 1988, in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Dan Peters of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., Edward Peters of Fort Worth, Texas, Michael Peters of Lawton, Okla., Brandon Peters of McClure; three daughters, Theresa Young of Anna, Ill., Nancy Peters and Susie Peters; a sister, Joann Stanley of Arlington, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a sister, three brothers and two grandsons.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
