Raymond Charles Leible Sr., 93, of Sikeston, Mo., died Oct. 4, 2008, at his home. He was born Jan. 20, 1915, at Kelso, Mo., son of William Theodore and Emma Goetz Leible. He and Beulah Dempster were married Nov. 18, 1939, at Cape Girardeau. Leible was a retired J.I. Case farm implement dealer. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a charter member of Council 3151 of the Knights of Columbus...

Raymond Charles Leible Sr., 93, of Sikeston, Mo., died Oct. 4, 2008, at his home.

He was born Jan. 20, 1915, at Kelso, Mo., son of William Theodore and Emma Goetz Leible. He and Beulah Dempster were married Nov. 18, 1939, at Cape Girardeau.

Leible was a retired J.I. Case farm implement dealer. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a charter member of Council 3151 of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Leible and John Leible of Sikeston and Robert Leible of St. Louis; two daughters, Patricia Green of Sikeston and Mary Critchlow of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, two great-great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Virginia Hovis of Cape Girardeau and Helen Cox of Kelso.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Revs. Richard Rolwing and Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston Memorial Park.
