NEW WELLS -- Raymond G. Perr, 67, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, at St. Mary's Health Center.
He was born June 24, 1925, at New Wells, son of Martin and Louise Burkholz Perr. He and Eula M. Hudson were married Nov. 11, 1942, in Norfolk, Va.
Perr attended school in rural Cape Girardeau County, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He lived in Jefferson City the past 20 years, and was custodian at Jefferson City Public Schools, First United Methodist Church, and Missouri Farm Bureau, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Perr of Jefferson City; two daughters, Shirley Walsh and Susan Roark of Jefferson City; five sisters, Matta Seabaugh of Jackson, Anita Poppito of St. Louis, Irma Petzoldt and Bertha Hellewege of Cape Girardeau, Millie Vaughn of Newport, Va.; three brothers, Clarence Perr of Los Angeles, Calif., Hugo Perr of St. Louis, Elmer Perr of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Church. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at Freeman Mortuary in Jefferson City from 5-7 p.m. today.
