RAYMOND EMERSON JR.

MORLEY -- Raymond Emerson Jr., 72, of Morley died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born May 29, 1924, at Morley to Raymond and Florence Barker Emerson.

He was a retired farmer.

On June 14, 1941, he married Lucille Isaccs, who survives.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morley.

Survivors include his stepmother, Frances Emerson of Benton; two sons, Jim Emerson of Chaffee and Bradley Emerson of Kennett; six daughters, Florence Emerson and Ginny Grant, both of Chaffee, Brenda Schwepker and Kay Huckstep, both of New Hamburg, Glenda Emerson of Scott City and Cheryl Young of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson of Advance and Ray Gene Emerson of Morley; four sisters, Juanita Isaccs, Anita Freed and Becky Rodgers, all of Morley, and Debbie McKim of Poplar Bluff; 27 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will start at 2:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Garden near Morley.
