Raymond G. Boren, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at his home.
He was born Nov. 6, 1918, in Cape Girardeau, son of Amos George and Hilda Schoenberg Boren.
Boren was a conductor with Cotton Belt Railroad 42 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Boren of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Mary Boren of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Gilbert Boren of Reynoldsville, Ill.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Hintz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
