CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Arthur "Ray" Jones, 63, of Chaffee died Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, at his home.

He was born Aug. 14, 1939, at Sturdivant, Mo., son of Lynn and Lorraine Stepp Jones.

Jones was a 1958 graduate of Advance High School. He was an electrician.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur Jones Jr. of Cape Girardeau, James Jones of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Kim Smith of Granite City, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., from 5 to 7 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in Cato Cemetery near Arab, Mo.
