CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Ray Haney of Charleston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Tom Bridges will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Haney, 69, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 4, 1927, in Scott County, son of Oliver and Gladys Hockersmith Haney.
Haney was a truck driver, and member of Southern Baptist Church at Diehlstadt.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Davis of Murphey, N.C.; seven brothers, Cecil, Herbert, David, Paul and Donnie Haney of East Prairie, Dan Haney of Charleston, Ronnie Haney of Barlow, Ky.; two sisters, Doris Lynch of Sikeston, Mary Clayton of North Little Rock, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
