JONESBORO, Ill. -- Ray H. Clark Jr., 71, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, April 4, 1996, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1924, in Marion, son of Ray Herman and Bessie Swan Clark Sr. He and Patricia Ann Heltsley were married Nov. 11, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.
Clark was a dietitian at Clyde Choate Mental Health, retiring in 1984. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Clark was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Clark of Jonesboro, Randy Clark of Anna; four daughters, Linda Brown of Perryville, Mo., Tracy Lehr of Anna, Cathy Clark and Katie McBride of Chicago; two brothers, Donald Clark of Peoria, Dean Clark of Centralia; a sister, Wanda Marks of Centralia, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Phil Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, and at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
