Rava Riddle

BERNIE, Mo. -- Rava Lucille Riddle, 80, of Bernie died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born Aug. 31, 1923, at Himmel, Mo., daughter of Dan and Ella Pritchett Bollinger. She and Alvis Russell Riddle were married Sept. 13, 1941, near Dexter, Mo. He died July 9, 1978.

Riddle attended Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell, Mo.

Survivors include four sons, Dennis Riddle of Bernie, R.J. and Terry Riddle of Bloomfield, Mo., Daryl Riddle of Jackson; two brothers, Noble Bollinger of Swinton, Mo., Talmage Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Norma Hahn of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bryan Johnson and Dale Hartle officiating. Burial will be in Smith-Stevenson Cemetery near Dexter.
