FREDERICKTOWN -- John Randy Walker, 53, of Fredericktown died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 1, 1946, in New Albany, Miss., son of Vernon G. and Lillie Mae Beck Walker. He and Mable Polk were married Dec. 22, 1979, at Matthews.
Walker was manager of Waltrip's M.F.A. Service Station in Matthews 13 years. Formerly of Canalou and Matthews, he moved to Fredericktown in 1995 and was a member of Cobalt Village Baptist Church.
He served in the Missouri National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Brent Walker of Kansas City, Stephen Warren of Delafield, Wis., Lance Walker of Fredericktown; his mother of Fredericktown; three sisters, Shirley Bollinger of Fredericktown, Bobbie Lasters of Canalou, Pat Duke of Wichita, Kan.; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Burnes officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
