Randall Madison Mosley, 92, of Cape Girardeau passed away at 9:02 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 27, 1926, in West Frankfort, Illinois, to Walter and Hannah Palmer Mosley. He married Ida Tedeschi, and they were married for 70 years.

Randall served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562 of St. Louis and was a Boy Scout leader and district commissioner for the former Three Rivers Council.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Mosley of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Joseph (Amanda) Mosley of Scott City and Madison Mosley of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Tedra (Tom) Gee of Paris, Tennessee; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Maria Mosley Smith; four brothers; and a sister.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in West Frankfort, with Brother Lloyd Whittaker officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Posts 1961 of Orient, Illinois; Post 177 of Zeigler, Illinois; and Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team.

There will be no visitation, and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the cemetery and funeral home.

Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
