SIKESTON -- Ramona L. Eakins, 65, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Harley B. and Georgia Alvina Davis Propst. She and Jerry L. Eakins were married April 10, 1948, in Sikeston.
Eakins was a cook at Bo's Bar-B-Que 17 years, and an Avon representative five years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Lindell Eakins of Sikeston; two daughters, Mary Farmer of Sikeston, Dianna Moit of Bertrand; a brother, Lanus Propst of Sikeston; a sister, Lois Lacey of Hartsille, Ala.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
