Ralph E. Lettelier, 95, of Oran died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 2, 1910, in Everett, Wash., son of Walter and Ada White Lettelier. He and Ethyle M. Carr were married on March 5, 1984. She died May 20, 1999...

Ralph E. Lettelier, 95, of Oran died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 2, 1910, in Everett, Wash., son of Walter and Ada White Lettelier. He and Ethyle M. Carr were married on March 5, 1984. She died May 20, 1999.

Lettelier was a retired small engine mechanic for Pennsylvania Lawn and Garden in Hollywood, Calif. He was a member of Tri-City Assembly of God in Glendora, Calif., the Railroad Model Club and the Aloha R.V. Club.

Survivors include two step-sons, Bush Thornton of Upland, Calif. and Carlton Carr of Bayou La Batre, Ala.; one stepdaughter, Laura McGuire of Oran; several stepgrandchildren, great-stepgrandchildren; and one step-great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran with the Rev. Don Gandt officiating. Burial will be at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southeast Hospice or Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran.
