WHITEWATER -- Funeral service for Ralph Huffman of Dyer, Ind. and formerly of Whitewater, was conducted March 25 at the Southlake Fundamental Baptist Church in Crown Point, Ind.
Tim Huffman and the Rev. Ken Jones officiated, and burial was in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Ind. Fagan-Miller Funeral Gardens of Dyer handled the arrangements.
Mr. Huffman, 62, died March 21. He was born May 27, 1928 at Whitewater, Mo., the son of the late Lee and Ida Huffman. In June 1949, he married Della Mae Brown, who survives.
He was the owner of Ralph and Rick's Garage in Dyer, a member of Southlake Fundamental Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean conflict, and a resident of Dyer for 33 years.
Survivors include three sons, Alan Huffman of Hammond, Ind., Tim Huffman of Lowell, Ind. and Rick Huffman of Crown Point, Ind.; four brothers, Lloyd Huffman of Advance and Lawrence, Loren and Ray Huffman, all of Lutesville; four sisters, Lucille Cook of Jackson, Ruby Morrison of Murphysboro, Ill., Kathleen Douglas of St. Louis and Aleen Garland of Lutesville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
