PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ralph Joseph Grass, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at his home. He was born May 29, 1933, in Perryville, son of Herbert C. and Eileen Kiefer Kadavi Grass. He and Teresa Schmeiderer were married June 28, 1952. Survivors include his wife; a son, James (Elizabeth) Grass of Perryville; two daughters, Kathy Lopez of Noblesville, Ind., and Nancy Rake of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Darlene Duvall and Judy Grass of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Amanda Chalmers, Adam Grass and Rosa Lopez.. ...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ralph Joseph Grass, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1933, in Perryville, son of Herbert C. and Eileen Kiefer Kadavi Grass. He and Teresa Schmeiderer were married June 28, 1952.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James (Elizabeth) Grass of Perryville; two daughters, Kathy Lopez of Noblesville, Ind., and Nancy Rake of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Darlene Duvall and Judy Grass of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Amanda Chalmers, Adam Grass and Rosa Lopez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David J. Grass; a grandson, David Grass; a brother, Donald Grass; and a sister, Mary Ann Grass.

Grass worked at Kiefer Plastering. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, AMVETS, and Knights of Columbus.

He served with the National Guard.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference to Southeast Hospice or St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
