JONESBORO, Ill. -- Ralph C. Brown, 87, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, June 7, 1994, at City Care Center in Anna.
He was born Dec. 10, 1906, in Jonesboro, son of John Watson and Mattie Miller Brown. He married Gladys Frick in 1935. She died in 1951. He then married Rosetta Anderson in 1953.
Brown was a farmer. He was a member of Farm Bureau and Salem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald Brown of Jonesboro; a daughter, Sharon Hott of Springfield; a stepson Lowell Mainer of Godfrey; a stepdaughter, Carol Delores Martin of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five stepgranchildren and 11 great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
