OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Rachel LeeAnn Prater, 21, of Olive Branch died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, in Joliet.

She was born May 2, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of Larry Allen and Patricia Ann Vaughn Prater.

Prater was a graduate of Egyptian High School. She had been a certified nurse assistant at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Darian Prater of Olive Branch; father and stepmother, Larry and Lani Prater of Olive Branch; mother, Patricia Prater of Thebes; a brother, Derek Prater of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Beth Henderson and Sarah Henderson of Olive Branch; paternal grandmother, Blanch Prater of Thebes; maternal grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Vaughn of Olive Branch; and stepgrandparents, Otha and Loawana McKee of Olive Branch.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. today, and Saturday from 8-11 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Olive Branch, with the Rev. Curt Alderson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
