EAST PRAIRIE -- Rachel Edwards, 63, of Charleston, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Feb. 2, 1996, at the Charleston Manor Nursing Center. EAST PRAIRIE -- Rachel Edwards, 63, of Charleston, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Feb. 2, 1996, at the Charleston Manor Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in New Madrid County, daughter of Roy and Bertie Johnson Edwards.
She is survived by a brother, Glen Edwards of Altenburg, and two sisters, Blanche Puckett of Des Moines, Iowa, and Imogene Clark of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie, with Brother Sonny Jackson, pastor of the Full Gospel Church of Fairfield, Ill., officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m, today at the funeral home.
