Rockmart, Ga. -- Pollyanna Louise Beakley, 90, of Rockmart, formerly of Marquand, Mo., died Saturday, May 21, 2005.
She was born Oct. 4, 1914, in Black Oak, Ark., daughter of Robert and Laura White Chisolm. She and Ulmon Beakley were married Jan. 19, 1931, in Black Oak.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Beakley of Jackson, Robert Beakley of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Hodges of Rockmart; a brother, Norman McCarty of Long Beach, Calif.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson.
Friends may call today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Union Light Church in Marquand.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Donald Sander officiating. Burial will be in Union Light Cemetery.
