Polly Ann Spitzer, 64, of Parma, Mo., died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at the home of a daughter in Wentzville, Mo.
She was born Dec. 23, 1938, at Clarkton, Mo., daughter of Tim and Elizabeth Tatum Daugherty. She married Richard Frederick "Dick" Spitzer Jr., who died April 14, 2001.
Spitzer was a retired teacher. She was a member of and music director at First Presbyterian Church in Malden, Mo. She was a past director of Malden Community Choir, and a committee member of Bootheel Youth Museum in Malden.
Survivors include two daughters, Maribeth Salge of Cocoa, Fla., Leigh McCullough of Wentzville; a son, Richard Spitzer of Houston, Texas; her mother of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Tim Daugherty of Escondido, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Private graveside service will be held Wednesday at Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Mo. The Rev. Bob Phillips will officiate.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Malden.
Landess Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.
