POLLY BURCH

SIKESTON -- Veda "Polly" Burch, 70, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 18, 1929, in Flint, Mich., daughter of John and Veda Boyd Baker. She and Harold J. Burch were married July 6, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.

Burch attended First Christian Church in Matthews.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Wayne Burch of Bell City; two brothers, Johnny Baker of Dexter, Harold Yancy of Sikeston; four sisters, Carol Woodall of Matthews, Norma Busby of Anna, Ill., Kathy Greene of LaForge, Ruth Avery of Essex; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. Caston Countz and H. Worth officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
