ANNISTON -- Pleasant Dutie Bailey, 83, of Anniston, died Monday, Oct. 28, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 26, 1908, in Gainesville, daughter of Wayne and Alberta Clasky McCullough. She married Harry Reno Bailey Aug. 25, 1926.
Bailey was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Homer Bailey of Fort Wright, Fla., Albert, Ronnie and Harry Bailey of Anniston; five daughters, Alta Vineyard of Festus, Joyce Jones of Charleston, Judy Combast and Melva Epperson of Ellsinore, Linda Nunn of Anniston; 37 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, brother and three sisters.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Aubrey Wilson will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.
