KELSO, Mo. -- Pius Frank Robert, 96, of Kelso died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Kelso, son of Charles and Ida Hohmann Robert. He and Arvella Mary Ledure were married May 1, 1945, at Kelso.
Pius farmed, drove a truck for Leming Lumber and owned and operated Pius and Arvella's Tavern and Station 45 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Kelso Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Arvella; a special friend, Donnie Hennemann; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and a sister
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Oliver Clavin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
