Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mabel Turner of Charleston; seven stepgrandchildren, including Phillip Turner and Dorothy King of Charleston, and 20 great-stepgrandchildren...

CHARLESTON -- Pinkie Turner, 88, of Charleston, died Wednesday, July 17, 1991, at Charleston Manor.

She was born April 10, 1903, in Clarksdale, Miss.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mabel Turner of Charleston; seven stepgrandchildren, including Phillip Turner and Dorothy King of Charleston, and 20 great-stepgrandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sparks Funeral Chapel. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
