Phyllis Sue Vickrey, 82, of Jackson passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 15, 1932, in Jackson, daughter of Odus and Ethel Masterson Litzelfelner. She and Charles Vickrey were married April 12, 1951, at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Phyllis graduated from Jackson High School. She worked at the former P.N. Hirsch and Rigdon Bakery in Jackson. She was an avid golfer and bridge player, and a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Loving survivors include her husband of almost 64 years, Charlie; three daughters, Judy Vickrey and Jane (Jim) Butler of Cape Girardeau and Susan Romani of Perryville, Missouri; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Mike) Allen and Jamie (Gabe) Runyon; three great-grandsons, Lane Allen, Van Runyon and Max Runyon; a brother, Jack (Judy) Litzelfelner of Jackson; a sister, Barbara Gorski of Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Odie, Joe, Jim and Ralph Litzelfelner; five sisters, Rosemary Bradsher, O'Deen Weir, Kathleen Gebhard, LaDonne Wilson and Margaret Miltenberger.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Gene Vickrey and Lucas Clabough officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
