Phyllis LeGrand

Phyllis A. LeGrand, 60, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 25, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to Dewey E. and Helen G. Propst Statler. She and Vernon C. LeGrand were married Sept. 22, 1973. He passed away March 16, 2008.

Phyllis attended grade school at Sedgewickville, Mo. She was a graduate of Patton High School and went on to earn her cosmetology license. She was a beautician several years in Perryville, Mo.

Loving survivors include an aunt, nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday to time of service at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Lixville Cemetery at Lixville, Mo.
