MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Phillip Dean Sheffield, 70, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 13, 1943, in St. Louis, son of Raymond and Ruth Perkins Sheffield.
Sheffield was an over-the-road truck driver for T&H Transport.

Survivors include two sons, Scott (Mendy) Sheffield of Scott City and Steven Sheffield of Marble Hill; a daughter, Melinda (Warren) Welka of Byron, N.Y.; former wife and longtime caretaker, Jane Rendleman of Marble Hill; and seven grandchildren, Victoria, Nicole, Jalen, Stephenia, Kris, Chase and Dominic.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
