NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Phillip Ransburgh, 54, of New Madrid died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at his home.

He was born May 23, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry Clay and Roseanna Camp Ransburgh Sr.

Survivors include three brothers, Dr. Steve Whitten of Cape Girardeau, Foster Whitten of Middletown, N.Y., and Henry Clay Ransburgh Jr. of Columbia, Mo.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to service time today at the Methodist Church in New Madrid.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating.

Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid handled the arrangements.
