PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Phillip P. Polito, 31, of Perryville died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee.
He was born Nov. 29, 1984, in Landstuhl, Germany, son of Charles P. and Stella M. Knott Polito.
Phillip was a mechanical superintendent at Burns and McDonnell. He was a member of the Masons and Catholic faith. He loved to travel and ride his motorcycle and four wheelers. Also loved to target shoot and being outdoors.
Survivors include his parents, Charles P. and Stella M. Knott Polito of Perryville; one sister, Lisa J. (Chandos) Pittman of Silver Lake, Missouri; and two nephews and one niece, Devin, Braden and Katelyn.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a Catholic wake at 7 p.m., and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Blount County Fire Department.
