ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Phillip O'Brien. 81. passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home in St. Charles.
He was born March 19, 1940, in Valley Park, Missouri, to William and Anna Pfefferkorn O'Brien. Phillip was united in marriage on May 18, 1963, to Robbie Schiwitz. She preceded him in death Nov. 13, 2020.
He grew up in Fornfelt, graduated from Cape Catholic High School, served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by a son, Jim (Lisa) O'Brien; two grandchildren, Duston (Ashley) O'Brien and Andrea O'Brien; two sisters, Mary Ann Crump and Theresa Zimmerman; and two brothers, Larry O'Brien and Patrick O'Brien.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service follows at noon Saturday at the mausoleum. Full military rites will be provided by Missouri Honors Team.
