BELL CITY -- Philip W. Steiner, 84, died Friday, July 29, 1994.

He was born Oct. 8, 1909, in Baltimore, Md. He and Margaret Fulton were married 41 years. She died in 1984.

Steiner attended Johns Hopkins University. He was an instructor at the Marine Corps Institute and was also a recruiter. He was an accountant and auditor.

Survivors include two sons, Philip Steiner Jr. of Wilson, N.C., Julian Steiner of Bell City, and three grandchildren.

Funeral service and inurnment will be at 11 a.m. today at Christ Episcopal Church in New Bern, N.C.

Cotten Funeral Home in New Bern is in charge of arrangements.
