PERRYVILLE -- Peter Rozik, 84, of Perryville died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at his home.
He was born Aug. 14, 1911, at Donora, Pa., son of Joseph and Mary Rozik. His first wife, Bertha Fadler Rozik, died in 1966. He married Dorothy A. Miget Hotop May 20, 1967.
Rozik worked as a bricklayer for Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish in Perryville and served in the Army.
Survivors are his wife; a stepson, Wayne Hotop of St. Peters; two stepdaughters, JoAnn Reiss and Sharon Hoff, both of Perryville; four brothers, George, Joseph, and Alex Rozik, all of Donora, and Fred Rozik of New Eagle, Pa.; two sisters, Ann Torhan and Catherine Dolfi, both of Donora; eight step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, a sister, two infant sons and a stepgrandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Frank Byrne. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at Festus.
