ST. CLAIR -- Funeral service for Peter Mickley "Pappy" Bush of St. Clair was held Feb. 3 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair. The Rev. Tom Smith officiated, with burial in Midlawn Memorial Gardens at Union.

Bush, 66, died Monday, Jan. 31, 1994, in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Ft. Totten, N.Y., son of Peter Alton and Alda Winona Bush. He and Jessie Lea Moore were married Jan. 1, 1949.

Bush was an ironworker. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wickliffe, Ky.; Bridge, Structural, Ornamental Iron Workers Local 396; Magnolia-Euclid Masonic Lodge 626 of St. Louis, and 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbia, and member of St. Clair Elk's Lodge 2651.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Peter Bush of Union, Phillip Bush of Kirkwood, James and Randall Bush of St. Clair; three daughters, Carole Kachadorian of Cedar Hill, Nita Smith of Wickliffe, Karen Marquart of St. Clair; two sisters, Juanita Earley of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., Florence Sackberger of Diehlstadt; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
